I wrote 5 songs for Drake’s “more life” album- Burna boy reveals

Afro-Fusion act, Burnaboy has made some shocking revelations about Wizkid’s messiah, Drake, saying he contributed immensely to the Canadian rapper’s “More Life” album but was put on the sidelines like he contributed nothing!!!

According to Burnaboy who connected with Drake in London last year, their meeting led to him working on a project with Drake; a project that turned out to be an album titled “More Life.” Burna Boy disclosed that he submitted a total of five songs for the album but was informed by Drake and his team that only one of the songs made it to the project.

The song is titled “More Life” which also became the album’s title. The album became a hit that it made it to the top of the Billboard Hot 200 album chart and broke streaming charts. However, the deserved credit wasn’t accrued to Burna. Instead, “More Life” was reworked and sampled at the outro of the record in an almost unrecognizable form.

Burnaboy expressed his frustration during the listening party for his forthcoming album titled “Outside.” He said; “They told me they had picked it, but when the song came out, it was chopped.” He further said the song he wrote would be on his forthcoming album “Outside,” which is set for release on January 26th, 2018.
