Super Eagles Nigeria stepped down in November FIFA Ranking
The Super Eagles also dropped in the African Ranking from fifth to eighth.
In the month under review, the Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a 1-1 draw away at Algeria in their last game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying series and beat Argentina 4-2 in a friendly game four days later.
Despite this win, the Super Eagles dropped nine places in the November FIFA Ranking from 41 to 50. They also dropped in the African Ranking from fifth to eighth.
Senegal (23), Tunisia (27), Egypt (31), Congo DR (36), Morocco (40), Burkina Faso (44), Cameroon (45) are all above Nigeria in the ranking.
The top five remain the same as Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium continue to dominate world football.
Spain and Switzerland climb to sixth and eighth respectively, Poland are in seventh while France and Chile make up the top 10.
This ranking will not be used for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Draw which will hold on Friday, December 1. The October FIFA Ranking was used for the allocation of pots.
Nigeria are ranked 41st in the October Ranking but from the 32 teams that qualified for the 2018 World Cup, the Super Eagles are 22nd which puts them in Pot 4.
