5 prophecies of 2017 that came through

This list showcases predictions made by Men of God that came to pass throughout the year.

In 2016 and the early months of 2017, many pastors shared their prophecies for the year.

For some these predictions turned out to be false and for others, their words came to pass.

This list focuses on those that actually happened. Here are the five true prophecies of 2017.

1. Saraki will face many trials

In January, Prophet Joshua Iginla of Champions Royal Assembly released his “prophetic insights for 2017.”

One of them involved Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki. According to the prophet, Saraki would face a lot of trials.

In his words, “The Senate president should not think that the trials are over. I see more storm and trials that will take a new turn from his enemies and political distractor. They will scheme for his removal.”

Saraki was taken to court in 2015. He got discharged and acquitted in June, 2017 after 15 out of his 18 charges were squashed.

He was ordered back to continue his case by the Court of Appeal in Abuja on December 12, 2017.

2. There will be floods

Prophet Iginla’s insights predicted the resumption of floods and heavy downpour.

He said, “I see the issue of flood resuming. I see a heavy downpour.”

3. Muhammadu Buhari’s health will suffer

Prophet Iginla also prophesied about the President’s health, predicting that he will be forced to travel for a checkup.

In his words, “His Excellency, Mr President should pray for his health, I see him travelling out for an unscheduled health checkup. But this time, it will be more serious. He should pray for his health, God will keep him.”

He turned out to be right again as the president took a lot more trips because of his health.

4. Attempt to impeach Donald Trump

Popular Nigerian cleric Apostle John Suleman also released prophecies for 2017.

In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, his Public Communications Advisor, he prophesied that the United States of America president would face impeachment.

He said, “Donald Trump to face impeachment attempt as members of Congress are divided on his style of leadership.”

In November, some Democrats introduced articles of impeachment against the President. TIME reports that they accused him of obstruction of justice and other offences.

5. Robert Mugabe’s resignation

This African country turned out Zimbabwe when military leaders placed longtime leader, Robert Mugabe under house arrest and announced takeover.

He was eventually forced to resign.

This same prophecy was also made by Prophet Iginla.

After 37Years of a strong grip over the country of Zimbabwe, Pres. Robert Mugabe was finally ousted via Military Intervention. Robert Mugabe's Forced Resignation, however, was prophesied by Bro. Joshua Iginla months earlier.  

He made it on three different occasions, during his church cross over service, on May 14th  and finally on July 2nd.
