D'banj: Singer is conferred a member of Imo State chieftaincy cabinet

D'banj has been conferred with an Igbo chieftaincy title, adding another feather to his cap.

This latest development was announced by his manager, Franklin Spice who took to his Instagram page on Friday, January 5, 2018, to announce the good news.

According to Franklin, the music star was conferred with the title of 'Enyi Ka Nwanne' of Amuzi Obowol Autonomous Community in Imo State. He also posted a number of photos of other photos from the ceremony. An elated D'banj couldn't hide his joy as he was all smiles all through the conferrment.

Looks like D'banj is going to be having a great year as he starts the year with a chieftaincy title. 2017 was also a good year for him as he released his album.

Another major highlight for D'banj was the shocking performance he had with his former mates of defunct Mo'hits. They performed at the #30BillionConcert organised by Davido to mark the end of his world.

Led by Don Jazzy, Mohits comprising of D’banj, Wande Coal, D’Prince, Dr Sid and Kay Switch made a comeback.

Also last year during one of concert's D'banj stopped his show mid way to rescue a lady that was been molested. A visibly angry D'banj, was seen in the video asking the security team to bring the girl to him, describing the incident as barbaric. The lady who was molested was brought to the stage by the security guys.
