Jidenna reacted to Trump statement, calling him shithole president after Trump called Nigeria a shithole country

Big mouthed and saucy American president, Donald Trump, directed his usual ill words at Nigeria some days back and came under fire for trash-talking our country. One of those to blast him is US-based Nigerian rapper, Jidenna.

Trump unapologetically referred to African countries as #Shithole Countries and sparked an outrage amongst the African circle. Speaking up for his continent and country, the US-based Nigerian rapper took to Twitter to write;

“I don’t like talking about this #fuckboy cuz it gives him more power but comments like #Shithole Countries etc. are actually giving the US more power. You can’t have Moses without Pharaoh. I’ve lived & worked in predominantly Haitian neighborhoods for more than half my life and I want to thank you for raising me via your Diaspora and teaching me more than a #Shithole President ever will.”

“I pray that we as Africans & people of the African Diaspora continue to work tirelessly to build more beauty in our land(s) so that no one can find any single reason to call our nations #Shithole Countries. Let this be a catalyst for courageous leadership and righteous governance.”

Meanwhile, President Buhari and his fellows are doing their best to avoid this subject, as they seem to be afraid to speak against Trump and America.
